Apple iPhone 8 and 8 plus: Specs and Price in Nigeria

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were introduced on the 12th September, 2017 and was available on pre-order at the online Apple Store. The official release date was set for the 22nd September, 2017 from when customers can purchase them from the retail stores.

The phones were designed to be extra, to be an improvement over all the features of the its Predecessor, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus users worldwide have come to love. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are to be released with iPhone X, which is Apple’s new high-end device, which will feature more drastic change in design and internal features.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus is a hybrid of the flagship iPhone X and the previous iPhone 7 and 7 Plus with more prevalent features of the iPhone 7 edition.

The most distinguishing feature of the iPhone 8 is the all new front and back durable glass body. It is encased in an internal stainless steel frame and a color matched exterior aluminium band. The overall design remains the same as the iPhone 7 generation phones with the Touch ID Home button and fingerprint scanner.

The price for the iPhone 8 edition is set for

  • iPhone 8: $699, £699, AU$1,079 and
  • iPhone 8 Plus: $849, £849, AU$1,329

Prices in Nigeria for the iPhone 8 ranges from ₦ 326,199 up to ₦ 335,199

while the iPhone 8 Plus ranges from ₦ 368,799 up to  430,299.

It is available in three colors: Silver, Space Gray, and a new Rose Gold shade, rosier than we are accustomed to.
